The higher the FOV (with the same resolution), the more pixelation and/or SDE. SDE was bad on the Q1, and I think they made the right call with the Q2 to make things relatively sharp and clean. It was removed in the official release of v53 for some reason. And unfortunately, it's not reintroduced in any releases after that. For the Quest 2, I tried a couple of different 3d printed lens adapters combined with the lenses for the Zenni Round Glasses 550021. The Zenni lenses are perfect 10 out of 10. I don't know if other company's lenses will be as low profile and thin, the Zenni are almost like a SLR lens filter thin. Ah that's great to know. Well that's two positive reviews for Zenni, and they are the cheapest I've found in the UK so just going to go for them.
